Pro- ActiveSince being back in school I've put my passion and energy towards putting new life in the Culture & Art Club at Lonestar College. I really feel like Im making a difference and getting people really excited about Art. Something that can be hard at times.
In late November I'm proud to say I proposed and directed a project for an installation of a contemporary rendition of a Christmas tree. It was an idea I pursed full force and not but two weeks later it was installed in the college art gallery. I had students and members of the Culture and Art Club make ornament to adorn the tree, it was a really big hit.
Since it was so successful were doing it again next year but Bigger, Better & with a BANG! We plan on doing all types of promotions; flyers, commercials and having the profits from the sell of the ornaments go to charity.
Im really proud of myself. I look foward to the future and the many more contributions I have to offer to Art.
